Bigg Boss 20 will be the twentieth edition of the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss aired in Indian language Hindi. The show, hosted by Salman Khan, is set to air from 6 September 2026 on Colors TV and Jio Hotstar online streaming platform. The new season of Bigg Boss is expected to witness the participation of celebrities from the field of entertainment including television, movies, music, sports and social media.

Summary

The new season of Bigg Boss is all set to make its appearance from 6 September 2026. For the milestone season, Salman Khan will host the reality show which will come up with new participants and new twists. The first promo of the show shows Salman entering the sets in an impressive manner with a horse on board using the famous quote of the movie Karan Arjun - Thathastu!

Various celebrity names have been associated with the new season, but the producers have not yet confirmed the same.

Concept and Format

Bigg Boss 20 will be produced using the well-known format of the reality show franchise. Contenders will be living inside the Bigg Boss house with round-the-clock surveillance while doing weekly tasks and getting nominated for and eliminated from the show. They will try to win the title despite relationships, rivalries, alliances and other hurdles of life in the Bigg Boss house.

Host

Salman Khan will be back as the host of Bigg Boss 20. He is expected to be guiding the contestants all throughout the season and will appear in weekend episodes to comment on significant happenings, tasks, controversies and eliminations of the show.

Production

It is reported that there is going to be a complete overhaul of the Bigg Boss house for Season 20. Reports suggest that the longtime set designers Omung Kumar and Vanita Garud Kumar are being replaced by art directors Kanchan and Rupali, who had earlier designed the sets for the reality show The 50.
