The Traitors 2 is second season of the Indian reality television series The Traitors , hosted by Karan Johar . This season is set to premiere on 13 August 2026 on Prime Video. It is produced by Banijay Asia , and the show brings together 21 celebrity contestants, competing in a game that’s really about trust, deception, and clever strategy.

It was filmed at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer , Rajasthan, and yeah it mixes actors, television personalities, influencers, chefs, musicians, entrepreneurs, and also content creators from all over India.

Summary

The Traitors Season 2 sticks to the same format as the first season, where contestants have to spot the concealed “Traitors” while trying to stay in the game . A few contestants are chosen in secret as Traitors, while everyone else becomes Faithfuls. The Traitors remove other contestants during the game without ever confirming who they are , while the Faithfuls try to work as a unit to unmask them, before the finale.

Overview

After the big success of the first season, Karan Johar comes back as host for Season 2 . This time the season features a varied set of 21 contestants from different life paths, including people from Bollywood, TV, social media, music, food, business, and fashion. The show is promising strange alliances that kinda show up out of nowhere , shocking betrayals, and psychological gameplay that keeps shifting.

Format

Contestants stay together inside the palace and join missions to grow the prize pool . Early on , a smaller crew of contestants is discreetly marked as Traitors, while the rest turn into Faithfuls. Every night the Traitors quietly eliminate one Faithful , while the Faithfuls hold their vote during the daily round-table talks to remove the contestant they think is a Traitor. The game continues until either all the Traitors are eliminated or the Traitors successfully outnumber the Faithfuls.

Host

The Traitors Season 2 is hosted by Karan Johar, who returns as the host after leading the inaugural season. He oversees the game, assigns the Traitors, conducts the round-table discussions, announces eliminations, and guides the contestants throughout the competition.
