Early Life & Education

Gauri Maheshwari was born in 2005 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. She belongs to a business family and has shown an inclination towards academics and creativity from childhood itself.

Prior to joining high school, she has undergone training in Indian classical music. She holds a Junior Diploma in Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet from Prayag Sangeet Samiti as well as Madhyama-level training from Bhatkhande.

After her schooling, Gauri took up medicine as a subject to study. At present, she is undergoing MBBS from Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Pune. In her career as a student of medicine, she has participated in academic, scientific and extra curricular activities.

Academic interests of Gauri include genomics, genetic engineering, public health, preventive healthcare and bioethics. Also, she has been involved in various medical workshops and practical sessions that include chest auscultation, suturing, arterial blood gas, laparoscopic surgery and basic life support.

Career

Gauri Maheshwari developed an interest in scientific research. She undertook a project where she designed and developed a machine for paper recycling. This project focused on practical recycling of old papers and converting them to reusable papers.

The project undertaken by Gauri on paper recycling machine was published in International Journal of Scientific and Engineering Research (IJSER).

Gauri Maheshwari was also a part of a world record banana DNA extraction activity certified by the Guinness Book of World Records. The world record activity comprised of the extraction of DNA from a banana, as a part of a large-scale scientific experiment. This helped Gauri gain experience in basic genetics and molecular biology and enhance her interest in biotechnology and science communication.

In her years as a medical student, Gauri has been engaged in academic and research activities related to genomics, genetic engineering, public health, and bioethics. Her academic projects and activities include subjects like the Human Genome Project and biological control using Wolbachia.

She has also been a part of scientific and medical workshops, dissection contests and bioethics contests. Her research and writings include biomedical subjects and an article on left ventricular thrombus.

Writing and Publications

Apart from her medical education, Gauri Maheshwari was also keen on writing. She has authored and published nine books on various topics such as personal development, emotions, relationships, and social issues. Her subsequent works have taken a more positive stance on women's empowerment and resilience. In her book titled 'Unwritten Unbroken,' she writes about women's experiences and how people react to changes in their environments.

Entrepreneurship is another avenue where Gauri Maheshwari has sought to engage by founding Elanoragm Luxe - a luxury accessories brand that produces hand-made resin purses and clutches.

Elanoragm Luxe is a brand whose premise is based on using resin as an alternative material for luxury fashion. The brand concept integrates handmade product design with the themes of individuality, confidence, and women's empowerment.

There is also a planned social aspect of Elanoragm Luxe in which some of the profits will be used to help girls in orphanages. Through this venture, Gauri seeks to merge business, fashion and social responsibility. Her other entrepreneurial interests include creative services, content creation, fashion, real estate and digital ventures.

Creative and Public-Facing Work

Gauri Maheshwari has done fashion, modelling, and digital content along with her medical studies. Her involvement in the fields of fashion has included fashion photography, promotions for fashion, lifestyle, jewellery, beauty and self-care.

She has also been a part of pageantry and won the title of Glam Princess of India. In 2026, she has been a Music Secretary at her college and participated in cultural and academic events.

Her other academic achievements include internship experience in nanotechnology through AIMER and Introduction to Psychology course from Yale.
