Satyanarayan Joshi is an Indian journalist, political strategist, political analyst, and Right to Information (RTI) activist from Rajasthan. Dedicating his journalism and life to the core values of truth, courage, and Sanatan ethics, Joshi has maintained a powerful presence in the corridors of power and administration through his bold writing and investigative journalism for over a decade. Currently, he successfully operates and edits major media ventures, including "29NEWS" (the world's first eco-friendly digital news network), "Right News Analysis" (a weekly newspaper), and "Publisher First" (a monthly magazine). Concurrently, he serves as the State Vice President of the influential social and organizational platform 'Vipra Sena' (Brahmin Mahapanchayat) across Rajasthan.[1][2][3]

Early Life and Education

Satyanarayan Joshi was born into a highly respected and culturally rooted Brahmin family in Bhojasar village, located in the Phalodi district (formerly a part of the Jodhpur district), Rajasthan (Pin Code: 342311). The values of national service, cultural preservation, and ideological conviction were passed down to him from childhood. His official permanent and correspondence address remains Brahminon Ka Bas, Gram Panchayat Bhojasar, District Phalodi, Rajasthan - 342311.

His father has long been associated with the globally renowned spiritual and social organization 'Gayatri Pariwar', which deeply infused their household with an environment of Vedic consciousness, patriotism, and ideological purity. From a young age, Joshi was associated with the branches of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Regular reading of the intellectual and nationalist journal 'Pathey Kan' significantly shaped his nationalist perspective, later providing a strong foundation for his 'Nation First' approach to journalism.

Career

Journalism Career

The inspiration behind Satyanarayan Joshi’s entry into journalism is deeply rooted in strong ideological principles. During his youth, he was heavily influenced by the fearless and sharp editorial style of the newspaper 'Saamna' and the bold interviews, historic speeches, and 'Nation First' thoughts of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray. Motivated by Thackeray's uncompromising stance against injustice and administrative apathy, Joshi decided to weaponize his pen against social corruption, choosing journalism as his lifelong mission.[4][5]

Political Career

Satyanarayan Joshi is not merely confined to reporting news; he is an accomplished political strategist, expert, and analyst with a precise understanding of grassroots and policy-level politics in Rajasthan.

  • Strong Political Influence: He commands substantial political and social influence, particularly in the Phalodi assembly constituency and the broader Marwar region. He is widely recognized for behind-the-scenes strategic planning and accurate electoral analysis.
  • Public Trust: His direct approach to questioning administrative lapses has earned him deep trust among the local population, positioning him as a strong voice for public grievances.
  • Dedicated Team Network: Joshi leads a highly disciplined, loyal, and efficient network of youth, thinkers, and ground workers across the region, capable of mobilizing community initiatives effectively.

Association with Swami Ramdev and Patanjali Yogpeeth

Satyanarayan Joshi maintains a profound commitment to Sanatan culture, Swadeshi (indigenous goods), and the global yoga movement. He is a Life Member of the Patanjali Yog Samiti and Bharat Swabhiman (Nyas). Acknowledging his dedication and organizational abilities, several key responsibilities were entrusted to him over time:

  • He previously served as the Au Tehsil In-charge for the Patanjali Yog Samiti, working at the grassroots level to raise health and yoga awareness.
  • Due to his significant organizational contributions, he currently plays an effective role in the Phalodi District Executive Committee of the Patanjali Yog Samiti.
  • Joshi shares a close association and receives personal guidance from the world-renowned Yoga Guru, Param Pujya Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj. As a close associate and active supporter of the Swadeshi movement, Joshi has played a key role in strengthening yoga and indigenous values across the Marwar region.

Journalism Career and Media Enterprises

Satyanarayan Joshi has demonstrated his editorial capabilities across all three major pillars of media: print, television, and digital platforms.

Golden Era in Television Journalism

Beginning his journalistic journey at the rural grassroots level, his sharp investigative reporting led him to hold the top position of State Coordinator for Rajasthan at Sudarshan News, a prominent national nationalist news channel. During this tenure, his strategic coordination with Sudarshan News Chairman Suresh Chavhanke and National Coordinator R.K. Rajpurohit was widely recognized within regional media circles.

Print and Digital Media Network

Currently, Joshi is the owner and editorial head of several influential news outlets in Rajasthan and at the national level:[6][7]

  • 29NEWS (Digital News Network): He is the Editor-in-Chief of "29NEWS - The World's First Eco-Friendly Digital News Network". Focused on the environment, wildlife conservation, and cultural awareness, this network enjoys massive social media popularity. Its official Facebook page currently has a large and active community of over 5,65,000 (5.65 Lakh) followers.
  • Right News Analysis (Weekly Newspaper): He is the owner and chief editor of this sharp, independent, and investigative weekly newspaper, known for targeting administrative corruption.
  • Publisher First (Monthly Magazine): He serves as the owner and chief editor of this national monthly magazine, which caters to policy-makers, intellectuals, and serious socio-economic discussions.

First Journalist in Rajasthan to Receive High Court Protection Orders

Satyanarayan Joshi holds a historic distinction in the judicial and media annals of Rajasthan. Due to his continuous, high-profile exposes against land mafias, financial corruption, and administrative lapses, he became the first and only journalist in Rajasthan to be officially granted judicial security orders (Security Order) by the Honorable High Court.[8]

As a dedicated RTI activist, he has filed more than 1,200 Right to Information (RTI) applications to introduce transparency into the administrative machinery, exposing several land scams and financial irregularities. Following these exposes, he received serious and consecutive life threats from cross-border Pakistani phone numbers and anti-social elements. Taking serious note of the situation, the Honorable Rajasthan High Court intervened, directing the Director General of Police (DGP) and local administration to provide official protection to ensure the safety of the senior journalist and social activist.[9]

Geographic Operations and Offices

Geographically, since the Phalodi district was historically an integral part of Jodhpur, Joshi maintains a deep social, political, and professional connection with Jodhpur. To manage his expanding media operations and social undertakings efficiently, he operates fully equipped, modern offices in both Jodhpur and Phalodi, running 24/7.

Leadership

Alongside journalism, Satyanarayan Joshi actively contributes to social reforms, the preservation of Sanatan heritage, and community empowerment:

  • Vipra Sena (Brahmin Mahapanchayat): He serves as the State Vice President of this prominent national organization, leading efforts for community welfare, youth employment, and cultural preservation at the state level.
  • Marwar Research Institute: He is the founder-head of this institute, which promotes research, academic discussions, and documentation regarding the history, folk culture, ancient manuscripts, and social development of Marwar and Western Rajasthan.

Personal Life and Family

Satyanarayan Joshi’s family environment is deeply rooted in national service and strong organizational leadership. His wife, Smt. Basanti Satyanarayan Joshi, is an influential and established public figure in the Marwar region. She has served the party cadre for a long duration as the Former District Vice President of the BJP Mahila Morcha (Phalodi).

Furthermore, acknowledging her leadership skills, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Election Management Committee appointed her with the strategic responsibility of organizational coordination under the 'Social Pravas Yojana' across highly sensitive and key assembly seats in Western Rajasthan during the state elections.

Despite a strong political background and ideological alignments within the household, Senior Journalist Satyanarayan Joshi maintains a strict separation between his personal ideology and his professional work. He adheres to the highest ethics of independent journalism, keeping his media networks completely unbiased, focused on holding power accountable, and presenting uncompromised truth.
